Choosing a strong password that cannot be jeopardized is important. Anapact validates the password to ensure it meets the minimum requirements. It is recommended to have a strong password policy when setting up a user. Once the user can access the system, they will have the ability change their password.
Authentication is based on a combination of password policies that were set up in the system. Anapact’s password policy enforces the following requirements:
- Must contain at-least one number.
- Must have a length of 8 to 16 characters.
- Must have a combination of 1 upper-case and 1 lower-case letters from A to Z.
- Must have one special character. (! ? # $ %).
Reminders:
- Avoid passwords that are easy to guess.
- Common words, names, or strings like xyz12345 is not recommended.
- Combinations should be considerably different from the previous password.
